General Facilities

Musselburgh Racecourse is a compact course offering excellent facilities throughout and quality, competitive racing all year round. The circuit is just over a mile and a quarter, so no matter where you are on the course, the racing never seems far away. There’s also the Tote’s Big Screen in the centre of the course, which brings the action even closer. And with a choice of 7 bars, 3 restaurants and multiple food outlets, we can offer you an outstanding selection of food and drink venues.

Parking

We have ample free parking in the dedicated racecourse car park close to the racecourse entrance. Simply follow the signs to the racecourse and you will be directed from there. The car park is a 5-minute walk from the Main Entrance, or there is a shuttle bus running from the car park to the entrance. Guests wishing to be dropped off outside the main entrance can do so, before parking your car.

Cloakroom

The Racecourse runs a cloakroom facility located in the tunnel running through the main Grandstand. The Cloakroom opens one hour before the first race, racegoers can leave their coats and accessories here at their own risk, and collect them at the end of the day.
