Musselburgh Racecourse is a compact course offering excellent facilities throughout with quality, competitive racing all year round. The circuit is just over a mile and a quarter, so no matter where you are on the course, the racing never seems far away.

After a recent £4m refurbishment, the Racecourse offers excellent facilities throughout and a great variety of Places to Eat and Drink. So when you’re ready for food and refreshments there’s a choice of 7 bars, 3 restaurants and many easy access food outlets situated around the course.

About the Racing Track

Musselburgh Racecourse is a right handed, compact track of just over a mile and a quarter round, providing excellent viewing of the racing. No matter where you are on the course, it’s easy to follow the race and soak up the atmosphere. To help you to follow each race there’s also the Tote’s Big Screen in the centre of the course, which brings the action even closer.

Cloakroom

The racecourse runs a cloakroom facility located in the tunnel running through the main Grandstand. The Cloakroom opens one hour before the first race, racegoers can leave their coats and accessories here (at their own risk) and can collect at the end of the day.
