New Year's Day Meeting 2024

Our Advanced Adult ticket is a general admission ticket that provides access to all public areas and a variety of options for place to eat, drink and bet.

Book your tickets before midnight on the 31st December and save £5.00 - on the day price will be £45.00.

Children 17 years and under go free, when accompanied by a guardian. Child tickets can be obtained on the day of racing.

Our Concession ticket is a general admission ticket that provides access to all public areas and a variety of options for places to eat, drink and bet.  

Please Note: Appropriate Photo ID will be required when entering the racecourse for Concession tickets purchased.

Eligibility for concessions:

• Students: only with a valid student ID featuring a valid expiry date
• Young Scot cards
• Senior citizens, aged over 65 with proof
• Carers go free with a valid Carer’s ID or other carer documentation when accompanying a paying adult or concession, except on Ladies Day.

Our festive luxe domes are back and they're better than ever before!

Elevate your New Year's Day experience and enjoy a day in our private festive domes, complete with Pommery champagne and a festive charcuterie board for you to graze throughout the day. Our domes seat ten and are located right alongisde our finish line, where you can soak up the atmosphere of our action packed day.

Each dome includes:

• Unique experience providing panoramic views across the finish line
• Reserved private dome for the day (10 people)
• Three bottles of Pommery Champagne to share
• One festive mezze and one festive cheese platter
• Your own host including table service
• Use of our VIP toilets within our Queen's Stand
• Admission for the day
• Complimentary racecards

The domes are for 10 people and are £174 per person. If you would like to bring more than 10 guests, you will be across multiple domes. Drinks are not included but drinks packages are available on request. Please note, the furniture inside the Festive Domes will be different than pictured below, with a casual dining atmosphere for 10 guests.

Upgrade your raceday experience, save money and add some mouth-watering flavour to your day. If you’re looking for something to eat and drink on the move – this is for you!

This package includes general admission for one, a race programme and one of the following:

• A portion of freshly cooked fish and chips, with a choice of breaded or battered fish, accompanied by a cold pint of beer, glass of house wine or soft drink.
• Or a 100% Aberdeen Angus burger from “Well Hung and Tender” – cooked in front of you, topped with Lockerbie cheddar cheese and fried onions, with a portion of chips, alongside a cold pint beer, glass of house wine or soft drink.
• Or a classic gourmet hot dog and chips from “Dog N Bon” and is accompanied by a cold pint of beer, glass of house wine or soft drink.

This package offers you a food saving of 16%.

Additional information:

• Vouchers for food and drink will be available for collection on arrival at Entrance 3 and group organisers should distribute to their guests.
• After collecting your package you will be able to enjoy it in our many outdoor picnic areas.

Bus service collecting from Dunbar's Old Post Office at 10.15am and stopping at 73-74 High Street, opposite the Mercat Hotel in Haddington at approximately 10.40am to Musselburgh Racecourse.

Return bus departs from Musselburgh Racecourse at 16:00 to Haddington High Street and Dunbar's Old Post Office.

A general admittance ticket is also required.

Bus service collecting from Galashiels Bus Station at 10.00am and stopping at Gorebridge Scotmid at approximately 10.45am to Musselburgh Racecourse.

Return bus departs from Musselburgh Racecourse at 16:00 to Gorebridge Scotmid and Galashiels Bus Station.

Bus service collecting from Penicuik Town Centre at the Medical Centre at 10am and stopping at Dalkeith Morrisons at approximately 10.30am to Musselburgh Racecourse.

Return bus departs from Musselburgh Racecourse at 16:00 to Dalkeith Morrisons and Penicuik Town Centre Medical Centre.

A general admittance ticket is also required.

Enjoy your New Year’s Day in the exquisite Queen's Stand Restaurant which offers stunning views across the winning post, the racecourse, and the parade ring - our Queen's Stand has a real royal flare. Opened by Princess Anne and visited by Her Majesty The Queen in 2016, it is rich in racing heritage and tradition.

Our restaurant package includes VIP admission, a table for the day, a raceday programme, Pommery Champagne reception, an exquisite fine dining three-course menu with a traditional Scottish New Year’s twist, followed by a locally sourced cheese board. Finished off with tea and coffee and traditional Scottish tablet. Enjoy a private bar, Tote betting and racecourse TV.  You'll also enjoy a guest Tipster Talk.
