Rock Melody bids for a hat-trick of wins in the British EBF Premier Fillies’ Handicap.
Trained by Jim Goldie, she has landed the £25,000 seven-furlong contest in the last two years and was a surprise 20/1 scorer twelve months ago.
Goldie also saddles Jannas Journey, who is after an eighth victory in a remarkable season.
The top-weight is Gemma Tutty-trained Thelma’s Angel, whose only previous course appearance came when sixth in the Listed Queen Of Scots Fillies’ Stakes in early June.
Goldie, set to be crowned Flat champion in Scotland for 2025, is responsible for half of the twelve-strong field in the Emerald Club Handicap.
His main contender could be Paul Mulrennan-ridden Arnhem, who boasts a win and two seconds for his new connections since arriving from the Rebecca Menzies stable.
William Haggas has a rare runner in plating grade with Fine Art Dealer in the £15,000 100% RacingTV Profits Back To Racing Selling Stakes.
The Newmarket trainer boasts a 33 per-cent strike-rate at the East Lothian venue and the first-time tongue-tied raider is his only representative on the eight-race card.
