Racing preview - Forth One's Friday at the Races with Boogie in the Morning

RIGHT And Exact is fancied to follow up last month’s narrow Thirsk success in the £12,000 Travis Perkins Edinburgh Handicap.

Trained in Malton by Declan Carroll, he has been raised 4lbs for getting up close home to score by a neck just under three weeks ago.

With Zak Wheatley back on board, his 3lb allowance will be handy in a competitive five-furlong dash containing several course and distance winners. 

But the main threat may come from recent Hamilton Park runner-up Tiva, a filly trained by bang-in-form David O’Meara.

The card opens with the Reichhartinger Rush Handicap staged over a few yards shy of two miles.

Locally-owned Simple Star, trained in Cumbria by Dianne Sayer, could be the logical option as he has won three times on the Flat at Musselburgh as well as notching two strikes over hurdles at Perth.
