DAVID and Nichola Barron have their eye on the feature race at Musselburgh on Wednesday with top-weight On A Session.

The Thirsk raider concedes weight all round to his four rivals in the £20,000 Join Racing TV Now Handicap over seven-furlongs.

On A Session has already enjoyed a decent campaign as he was the concluding leg of a valuable double for the father and daughter combination on Musselburgh Sky Bet Sunday Series fixture at the end of April.

His opponents include Tim Easterby’s Manigordo, a winner at Beverley 24-days ago and fourth at the East Lothian venue on Derby Day in a race also involving another of this afternoon’s rivals, Gioia Cieca.

The latter is trained by Carluke handler Keith Dalgleish, who is giving up training after saddling Alright Sunshine at Haydock Park on Saturday.

His final Musselburgh runner is set to be Mi Capricho in the   Visit racingtv.com Handicap at a track where he has recorded 116 winners on the Flat and a further 39 over jumps.
