Welcome to Student Raceday, the ultimate student social highlight of the academic year.
Ready for another unforgettable day out? The Student Raceday brings together the best of racing, music, fashion, and friends. Expect an electric atmosphere, live entertainment, great food and drink, and lots of students coming together to celebrate in style.
It’s the perfect chance to meet new people, dress to impress, and experience a true Scottish student tradition. From first-year memories to final-year celebrations, Student Raceday is where the student calendar comes alive.
A live DJ will be performing within the Invades Enclosure - you will need an Invades ticket to access this enclosure. You will not permitted access to this enclosure with a general admission ticket (adult, concession, child or one of our food packages) or hospitality badge. Invades tickets will go live shortly.

- Free car parking is available at Musselburgh Racecourse.
- We're only 6 miles from Edinburgh City Centre with direct transport links and a courtesy bus from Wallyford (connecting to Edinburgh) and NewCraighall (connecting to Galashiels) train stations.
- Children 17 years and under are admitted FREE at Musselburgh Racecourse, except for New Years Day and Ladies Day, when accompanied by a paying adult. Four children are permitted per paying adult and/or concession. If this event sells out, there will be no child tickets available on the gate on the day.
- Student and concession tickets are available. You must have a valid concession I.D. More information about our concession tickets can be found in our FAQ section, click here. Please note, there will be a price increase for student and concession tickets purchased on the day.
- Young Farmers tickets can be purchased here. £2 from every ticket sold will be donated to the George Crawford Legacy Trust.

£90.00Enjoy a day like no other in our exclusive private domes, where luxury meets the thrill of the race! Each dome offers panoramic views across the finish line, placing you right at the centre of the action. Your reserved dome for the day accommodates up to ten guests and comes with your own dedicated host providing full table service, so you can relax and savour every moment. You’ll also enjoy VIP access to our Queen’s Stand toilets, complimentary racecards, and full admission for the day. Whether entertaining clients or celebrating with friends, this unique experience promises unforgettable views, comfort, and excellent service from start to finish.
Each dome includes:
- Unique experience providing panoramic views across the finish line
- Reserved private dome for the day (10 people)
- Your own host including table service
- Use of our VIP toilets within our Queen's Stand
- Admission for the day
- Complimentary racecards
- You are welcome to bring your own picnic
A bottle of Pommmery and a sharing platter can be added on as an upgrade prior to the checkout.
The domes are for 10 people and are priced per person. If you would like to bring more than 10 guests, you will be across multiple domes. Drinks are not included but drinks packages are available on request.
