Catch all the action and witness top talent as elite runners compete in The Edinburgh Cup. Don’t miss the prestigious Queen of Scots Stakes – a Listed 7-furlong race that showcases the fastest fillies and mares, with winners often heading to Royal Ascot just weeks later.
Live Music & After-Racing Party
The excitement doesn’t end at the finish line! Enjoy live music on our Main Stage, followed by our legendary After Racing Party – open to all racegoers and taking place for 1 hour after the final race. More details to follow, closer to the event.

Free car parking is available at Musselburgh Racecourse.
- We're only 6 miles from Edinburgh City Centre with direct transport links and a courtesy bus from Wallyford (connecting to Edinburgh) and NewCraighall (connecting to Galashiels) train stations.

Student and concession tickets are available. You must have a valid concession I.D. More information about our concession tickets can be found in our FAQ section, click here. If this event sells out, there will be no concession tickets available on the gate on the day.

On Edinburgh Cup, we have a limited number of complimentary Personal Assistant tickets. These can only be obtained with a valid Carer’s ID or other carer documentation when accompanying a paying adult. Our Personal Assistant tickets will be on a first come, first served basis. They will not be available on the raceday and must be obtained in advance. Please note, these have all been allocated for Edinburgh Cup 2026.

Children 15 years and under are admitted FREE, when accompanied by a paying adult. Four children are permitted per paying adult and/or concession. If this event sells out, there will be no child tickets available on the gate on the day. Children under the age of 16 years must be accompanied by an adult. Proof of age may be requested and, if so, must be provided.

Please Note: Appropriate Photo ID will be required when entering the racecourse for Concession tickets purchased.
Eligibility for concessions:
- Students: only with a valid student ID featuring a valid expiry date
- Senior citizens, aged over 65 with proof
- Carers go free with a valid Carer’s ID or other carer documentation when accompanying a paying adult or concession. There are limited carers tickets on New Year's Day, Edinburgh Cup and Ladies Day, which are first come first served.

£18.00Our Super Early Bird Young Adult is our best ticket price. This is a ticket for attendees aged 16 and 17 years old on the day of the event and must be purchased alongside an adult or concession ticket. It is a general admission ticket that provides access to all public areas and a variety of options for places to eat and enjoy the atmosphere of a raceday. Please ensure you have a supervising adult. I.D will be required. Challenge 25 is in place.

£0.00Our standard Child ticket is a general admission ticket that provides access to all public areas. You can obtain four child tickets, per adult/concession ticket or foodie experience. Please note, this is for 15 years and under.
Children under the age of 16 years must be accompanied by an adult. Proof of age may be requested and, if so, must be provided. You are responsible for each child that you bring onto the Racecourse and shall ensure each child complies with these Conditions. Please ensure you’ve read and fully understand our terms and conditions.
