Jim Goldie kept his remarkable run going when Ana Emaraaty, Jim Jhingree and Trojan Sun gave him a 231/1 hat-trick at Musselburgh.
The first two were partnered but his great ally Paul Mulrennan while Trojan Sun was ridden to victory by stable conditional Lauren Young.
“The horses are all running pretty well so let’s hope that continues right through until the autumn and beyond,” said Goldie, who enjoyed his 1,000th Flat success recently.
Iain Jardine struck in the EBF Maiden Stakes when his newcomer Sovereign Ocean sprung a 33/1 upset under Andrew Mullen.
Winning owner Ian Jones said:
“Iain and myself bought him in France and we liked him and his pedigree. We thought he would run well today and he will definitely come on for the run.”
Linda Perratt also got in on the act when Keep Me Stable won her third race on the bounce in the Ocean Outdoor Big Screen Handicap.
“She’s at the top of her game and she could run again at Ayr on Monday,” the winning trainer reported.
