Places To Eat

Musselburgh Racecourse offers a great selection of places to eat and drink. Take a break from the racing action and visit one of our restaurants, bars or cafe located around the racecourse whilst keeping an eye on the racing TV screens.

Bistro

The Bistro

The Bistro offers a relaxed dining experience providing hearty, traditional home-cooked style meals with ingredients sourced primarily from local suppliers. Savour the perfect roast beef and local fish prepared to the highest standard. Choose from one, two or three courses as well as lighter snacks and delicious home baking.

This 'walk-in' restaurant on the ground floor of the Grandstand has a private bar, Totepool betting facility and is available to all racegoers. We recommend booking tables in advance - to book your table on a raceday, call 0131 665 2859.

Cafes

Bars & Cafes

Cafe 1816 has been recently refurbished and offers stylish surroundings to enjoy a refreshing tea or speciality coffee, sandwiches, paninnis, hot soup, baking & patisserie.

The Pommery Champagne Bar is a stylish bar offering cocktails, fine wine and Pommery Champagne and is ideal for a celebration with an outdoor lawn area. Dizzy's Bar and Freddies Bar provide panoramic views of the racetrack and Le Garcon d'Or Bar is on the first floor of the Grandstand with views over the Parade Ring. The Rockavon Bar is the place to experience true racing banter and is conveniently located next to the Betting Shop.
