Musselburgh’s Stobo Castle Ladies Day Sells Out For 12th Year

Stobo Castle Ladies Day at Musselburgh Racecourse has sold out for the 12th successive year.

Scotland’s most stylish race day has been confirmed as a ‘full house’ and the Saturday 1 June event will welcome a capacity 10,000 crowd.

 

The East Lothian course has announced that with still three weeks to go until the premier fashion and sporting event of the Scottish summer season, that all packages and general admission tickets have been snapped up.

 

The Queen of Style, the best dressed lady on the day, will receive a four night stay in New York with £2000 spending money, while the best dressed male, the King of Style, will receive £1000 in vouchers from Andrew Brookes Tailoring.

 

Singer-songwriter and former Girls Aloud star Nicola Roberts will join the Queen of Style judging panel, while celebrity DJ and television presenter Edith Bowman will host the After-Racing Party on the Main Stage.

 

Musselburgh Racecourse senior operations and commercial manager, Sarah Montgomery, said: “Demand for Stobo Castle Ladies Day tickets has been strong throughout the Spring and we are delighted to confirm the event is now a capacity sell out with more than 10,000 race goers expected on the day.

 

“Each year we try to improve and innovate to keep this hugely popular event fresh and interesting and the public have responded to our five star offering by snapping up tickets at a pace. The stage is set for yet another spectacular full house at Scotland’s most stylish racecourse and we look forward to welcoming Ladies Day regulars and first time visitors for a day of high fashion and first class horseracing to remember.”

 

Debuting at this year’s Ladies Day is the themed Photo-Finish Marquee with floral displays, street food and artisan drinks and where a selection of Funkwagen DJs keeping the party going throughout the day.

 

Another innovation and located at the Main Stage is The Edinburgh Gin Garden which is inspired by Scotland’s famous botanicals and which has ample seating where racegoers can soak up the festival atmosphere and drama of the exciting fashion competitions.
