KRISSY is after her fourth victory of the year in the 1m 1f Stand In What You For Handicap.
Already twice a winner over course and distance in May, Jim Goldie’s mare has also scored at the same trip at Carlisle and Rhys Elliott is again in the saddle claiming a valuable 5lb allowance.
The Uplawmoor raider supplied her trainer with his 100th win on the Flat in 2025, a record for a Scottish-based trainer, when scoring at Wolverhampton on December, 27th.
Krissy’s rivals include lightly-raced Welbury, who has been runner-up in both his starts in handicap company.
The opening one mile Future Ticketing Handicap sees Mereside Princess on a hat-trick following wins at Carlisle and over course and distance.
Trained by father and daughter combination, David & Nicola Barron, she has been raised almost a stone for those all-the-way strikes, the latest which was by four and three-quarter lengths.
Donald Whillans-trained Naturalia has dipped below her last winning mark and she could be the one to beat in the Haysmith By A Nose 60th Birthday Handicap.
She’s been narrowly defeated by Jim Goldie winners at Carlisle on her last two outings and should be going one better soon.
