Without Delay, trained by Tracy Waggott and ridden by Connor Beasley, is after her fourth course and distance success in the feature race at Musselburgh on Tuesday.
The County Durham raider, who is within 1lb of her last winning mark, lines up under joint top-weight in the £12,000 Racing TV Handicap over a mile.
As well as her three strikes at the East Lothian venue, the six-year-old has also won twice over seven-furlongs at Catterick with her latest victory coming by three-quarters of a length in early July.
Another mare, Scarriff, also has course and distance winning form, in her case in June of last season. Owned by Edinburgh businessman Gerry McGladery and trained by Rebecca Menzies, her other career win also came at Musselburgh over 1m 1f last month.
The card gets underway with the Alan Steel Asset Management 50th Anniversary Restricted Maiden Stakes.
Judging by official BHA marks it should be a tight race as three of the runners are rated 70 while Elizabeth Bay, making just her second appearance since leaving Jane Chapple-Hyam for Katie Scott, is on 72
Another trainer of the same name, Newmarket-based George Scott, saddles Midnight Rodeo in the Celebrate National Racehorse Week Nursery Handicap.
The gelding, who hasn’t shown great form in maiden and novice company, was a non-runner due to a vets certificate on his intended handicap debut at Chelmsford last week but could improve for the step up to a mile.
