Bellarchi is after more success at Musselburgh following his surprise strike at the East Lothian venue eight days ago.
Having scored at 14/1 over seven-furlongs, the Yorkshire raider is less than half that price as he steps back up to a mile.
“He loves the track as he’s only lost once in four visits,” said trainer Grant Tuer. “Oliver Stammers is back on board as he couldn’t do the weight when he won the Silver Arrow Handicap last time.”
A valuable card starts with Adonius also bidding to add to a recent Musselburgh strike in the juvenile contest.
Trained by Rebecca Menzies, he made an impressive debut when romping home by seven-lengths under Kaiya Fraser.
“He had been for a barrier trial but it was still a good performance to win like that first time out and he could be a decent two-year-old,” Fraser said.
Sea Force is the likely favourite in the £50,000 feature handicap over 1m 1f.
Trained by William Haggas and ridden by Cieren Fallon, he enjoyed a productive 2025 when winning twice including off a 6lb lower mark at Yarmouth in September.
Ed Bethell’s Velvet Whisper is on a belated hat-trick in the £30,000 1m 4f handicap.
A lightly-raced four-year-old, he could still be ahead of the handicapper despite a 10lb hike for back-to-back all-the-way wins at Nottingham and over course and distance last autumn.
After an eye-catching second on Easter Saturday, Montezuma could go one better in the concluding five-furlong dash for Jim Goldie and Paul Mulrennan.
A breakthrough success is surely imminent for the nine-race maiden, who did well to storm home into second place from a poor draw last time.
There should be some pointers before racing even gets underway as Goldie is galloping some stable stars including his Group 1 performer American Affair.
